The UNIVERSITY OF MYSORE, an enduring symbol in the sphere of higher education, was founded by the then Maharaja of Mysore, His Highness Sri Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV and his Dewan, the renowned Engineer – Statesman, Sir. M. Visvesvaraya in 1916. This was the first University in Karnataka and sixth University in India, and has served the cause of education and research with distinction and dedication for almost the whole of 20th century and is soon going to celebrate its centenary. Examination and Evaluation Pattern

MBA Degree
This UGC recognized / AICTE approved Full time MBA Degree will be awarded by University of Mysore, during their annual convocation. Because of the blemish-less reputation of University of Mysore, this degree is recognised and valid all over the world. Students after completing this MBA are eligible for Central and State Government jobs, can appear for any competitive exam held by the central or State governments, can pursue any higher education like doctoral studies (PHD) etc, are welcomed by the private sector.

Admission Procedure

Graduates in any discipline who have cleared their CAT, MAT, GMAT, PGCET are eligible and can take direct admission, others can take up admission by clearing the GEMS entrance test (GET).
