Ms. Anala Padmanabha

Anala Padmanabha, is a leader in the People & Organizational Performance Practice. She delivers growth, innovation, and organizational agility and is an expert on culture change, leadership development, team effectiveness, capability building, and transformation. She also works extensively with clients to drive organizational effectiveness at pivotal moments—such as merger, strategic shift, and crisis—and lead large-scale performance improvement programs integrating strategic, operational, and cultural initiatives.

Anala’s consulting journey began with EY as senior consultant majoring in Mergers and Acquisitions. Being a Chartered Accountant gave her further insights into international business and relations. This exposure took her to work with IDA and other international organizations associated in fostering a healthy culture, Diversity, Inclusion and a holistic growth oriented economy. McKinsey offered Anala a platform to build sustainable human development and performance models along with powering the learning and development engine of many organizations, Governments, Non-Profit Organizations to name a few.

Anala is also the founder director of a real estate Development firm in Benagaluru, which aims at building ESG and sustainable buildings. Featured by the Architectural digest, this award winning firm has projects all over India and aboard, aiming at building sustainable and Environmental friendly projects.

Anala is an active volunteer at Isha Foundation, a trained classical singer, a yoga practitioner and meditator, an avid reader, a certified scuba diver, a teacher and loves spending time with students. She thinks that the future leadership should be that of inclusion and responsible.

Mr. Bidduth Kalita

Mr. Biddut Kalita is a distinguished entrepreneur and accomplished educator with over 20 years of extensive corporate experience spanning various industries. He has held key leadership positions at prominent organisations such as Entertainment Network India Ltd (Radio Mirchi), TV House Network Pvt. Ltd., Star India Pvt. Ltd., and Sony Entertainment Television Discovery Pvt. Ltd. His expertise in sales, activations, and strategic planning has been instrumental in driving business growth and launching successful events and initiatives.

Mr. Brian Rego

Mr. Brian Rego is a soft-spoken, affable and gentle person who is at the confluence of academics, industry and the law. He comes with rich experience in Marketing, of specially  industrial engineering products, of over 25 years with organisation such as Kennametal Inda Limited, Kirloskar Brothers Limited etc. He is now a celebrated advocate practicing civil and criminal laws in the High Court and Trial Courts of Karnataka. He is a metallurgical engineer, topped up by an MBA, LL.B., and LL.M. by qualification and has been associated with GEMS B SCHOOL for almost a decade and a half. He is quite a linguist and is adept at six different languages. He has always promptly delivered what has been assigned to him.

Mr. Giridharan Srinivasan

Mr. Giridharan Srinivasan has over three decades of business experience involving
different roles and responsibilities in large multinational corporations as well as
funded start-ups. He adds significant value to the organizations with whom he
engages, by way of helping them enter new markets and generate revenue,
providing sales and revenue leadership during the growth phase, and enabling
increased product adoption.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics, and has certificates of completion
in Sales Strategies: Mastering the Selling Process from the University of Chicago
Booth School of Business, and in International Services Marketing from Yonsei
University, South Korea.
At GEMS B School, he teaches Marketing Management, Sales Management, and
Management Concepts and Theories.
Giridharan is a life-long learner who is deeply passionate about and totally
committed to help transform young adults to lead a purposeful, creative, and
engaged life.

Dr. Gayathri Chandrasekhar

Dr. Gayathri Chandrasekhar is currently teaching Human Resources related subjects at GEMS. She has been associated with the institution since 2018. She holds a PhD in Human Resources (HR Analytics) and currently teaches Human Resources courses including Organisation Change and Development, Cross Cultural and Global management, Human Resources Development and Compensation Management.

Gayathri Chandrasekhar comes from a corporate background having worked in organisations such as Wipro and 24×7 Customer before moving to the academic line. She is very passionate about the Human Resources aspects of healthcare workforce with focus on doctors. Her interest also covers the legal aspects of Human Resources.  Her research papers and articles have been published in leading National and International journals. Some of her papers have been indexed in the Web of Science Core collection.  Her focus is on highlighting the unique HR related needs of the healthcare workforce and continues to actively write papers on the same.  At GEMS, along with teaching, she also strives to help the students get the mix of the corporate and the academic aspects, to enable them to adapt in the corporate world.

Ms. Geetha Madhavan

Geetha Madhavan is an accomplished Educator, Management Consultant and a Practicing Professional with over three decades of industry experience. She is a CMA coupled with Masters in Commerce, Masters in Business Administration, Legal Studies, with a Diploma in Information Security & Systems Audit and Diploma in Forensic Audit. Coming with 35 plus years of experience in various fields with expertise and specialising in Costing, Finance, Accounting & General Management skills through years of practical application and academic achievement. She has served and held various senior positions in industries and conducted training and audits as a Practicing Cost & Management Accountant. She has been a Council Member and Chairperson at BCCA.  As a practicing Cost & Management Accountant and Partner at GM Associates, Geetha provides invaluable insights into cost accounting and tax auditing. She has been recognised through prestigious awards ‘Best Chapter Awards’ and ‘Certificates of Excellence’, for fostering governance and transparency, earning regional and national accolades from Institute of Cost Accountants of India which highlights her commitment to excellence and leadership in the field., Her multifaceted experience and dedication make her a valuable asset in any professional setting.

Mr. Girinarayan

Mr. Girinarayan comes with over 30 years of rich experience having held various leadership positions at reputed organisations such as Siemens, Daimler Chrysler (Mercedes Benz), Tata Group, GE India etc. He is the former Chairman of NIPM Karnataka Chapter and a National Council Member. Has served various Professional forums such as NHRD, ISTD, CII, FKCCI, HR Association etc. in various capacities.

Mr. S Kannan

Mr. Kannan is a Technocrat turned Management professional with over a period of 35 years experience having worked at Multinational Companies in the field of Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Vendor Development & Management. He has worked with the leading American Multinational Kennametal in India for almost 20 years. He’s trained in Six Sigma and successfully earned a Green Belt after executing many high impact projects.

Ms. Lakshmi Kannan

Ms. Lakshmi Kannan’s areas of expertise are Managerial Economics, International Business and Services Marketing. She has been with GEMS B SCHOOL since its inception contributing to the success of students.  She comes with 30 years Corporate experience. She has done her Masters and M.Phil. in Economics and MBA in Marketing and Sales Management.  Her focus is to bridge the gap between education and employment.

Dr. Nithya

Dr. Nithya, Co-founder, CSO & Consultant Physician – Care On Call, is an empathetic physician, entrepreneur, strategist and thought leader bringing with her a decade of clinical and leadership experience. Her interactive approach, fresh knowledge and charismatic energy has made her a sought after speaker and healthcare management educator as well. She has been honored as a “Young Leader” in the Healthcare innovation space and has been featured in multiple podcasts, news channels and other media.

Mr. Ravi Ghai

An alumnus of IIM Mumbai, Mr Ravi Ghai is a Consultant and Trainer in soft skills and finance. He has trained UG/PG students in several educational institutes, focussing on managerial communication. He also conducts Faculty Development workshops. Backed by a banking career spanning three decades in corporate finance and risk management with banks such as SBI, ANZ, Oman International Bank, Arab National Bank, Mr. Ghai serves as an independent Director on the Board of a prominent manufacturing company.

Mr. Ravindra Curam

Mr. Ravindra Curam has held senior positions in Finance, Accounts and Operations in a wide spectrum of Industries like Manufacturing, IT Companies, Nutraceuticals etc. Has top level expertise, exceeding 35 years, in Corporate Accounts, Finance and Operations in Public Sector, Private Sector, Multinational and Foreign companies. He has executed critical projects of the relevant companies in Manilla (Philippines), New Jersey (USA) and Abidjan (Ivory Coast), all on overseas global assignments.

Mr. Sujith Soman

Sujith Soman is a qualified chef with Michelin experience, renowned for his expertise in the tourism industry, where he has identified and created destinations & products worldwide. As a wine connoisseur, he brings a sophisticated palate to his culinary creations. With over 25 years of experience, Sujith, a polyglot, has worked extensively with private and government bodies across the globe, serving as a consultant to UNESCO and representing various organizations and Indian states in global travel and tourism events. His reputation as an international hospitality and F&B consultant underscores his profound impact on the global tourism landscape.

Ms. Sumana Gowda

Her experience in the corporate world encompasses a gamut of industries. She’s worked in the media industry (Advertising Agencies and Publications). She has also spent a decade in the logistics and supply chain management domain working for some of the most reputed companies in the industry, FedEx and DHL. Armed with considerable industry knowledge and experience she ventured into teaching which has over the years grown into a passion.  

Mr. S V Madhavan

Mr. Madhavan’s is an an M.Sc. in Statistics and MBA in Financial Management with 21 years of Industry Experience. He is a faculty of Quality Management Systems and Project Management. He’s a senior faculty at GEMS B SCHOOL and has been teaching students of GEMS since 2012. He’s also a consultant to various reputed organisations.

Mr. Vijayanand Krishnan

With a Master’s in Psychology, Vijayanand Krishnan (Vijay) has over 34+ years of leadership experience in the arena of People Function including Organizational Development, Leadership Consulting and Talent Management. His work experience is studded with significant contributions in companies such as Aspect Development, i2 Technologies, Symphony Services, Wipro Technologies, Nokia Siemens Networks, Sutherland Global Services, [24]7 Inc. First Advantage, Manav Energy Private Limited and with NKR Solutions as Chief People Officer. Currently he is the Chief People Consultant with AAVIBA Consultancy.

He was recently recognized as One of India’s Top 20 most Impactful HR leaders by CHRO Vision & Innovation Summit and Transformance Business Media (2022). He had received a ‘Special Recognition’ award from Mr. Azim Premji (Wipro) for designing & conducting the program, ‘Future Bright’ (2007).
